Struggles!!

Struggling a bit with this one....I wanted to show the reflection of the bridge in the water, but it is distracting me, so it is 'simmering' for a few days, and when I come back, will simplify this one.

Typical example of the sort of painting that most would 'chop' off the bottom, but i am determined to keep the format of a long length and lots of water!!

The benefits of a snowy day....

After skidding in the car (thankfully there was nothing in my path) then slipping and falling on my backside, the rest of the day was spent indoors, painting...2 new pics attached. The website http://www.shinafoot.co.uk/ now has a new page called Affordable Art which is linked up to Paypal and now sells ex-gallery paintings, demos and field-studies direct to Y-O-U!!

Will also be linking soon with the Teenage Cancer Trust main website with a separate Affordable Art page, selling similar work and raising funds for the Cancer Trust

More snow snow snow!!!

Of course - it was destined to snow this week - as we plan to travel up to Kinloch Rannoch for 4 days of relaxing and painting!! Now the smow will stop us getting there!! And I was just about to change the snowy pics on this welcome page as I thought they were out of season - ha!

http://www.shinafoot.co.uk/ now has a new page we are working on...the Affordable Art page, where ex-gallery paintings, demos and some field studies will be available for sale...also setting up Paypal for ease of payments from overseas...so do have a look and see what you think!!

February rush

Suddenly everyone's planning ahead at last and Paintaways are starting to fill up - no longer available is France in July or Sardinia in June, but still space on Tuscany in May ..at a specially reduced price of £895 for the week, and some spaces on Venice in September.

Also going to teach at Coombe Farm in Devon in May so if anyone needs details, get in touch and we'll be happy to give you details.

A bit less painting going on this week, as workshops are happening in the studio, and a few deliveries of new work to galleries...still, got a few nice new ones under my belt for the stock shelves!!
